The Obama Foundation wanted their brand to echo their mission of rich storytelling and activism. This manifested into a design system aimed towards inspiring, empowering, and connecting people to change their world. We transformed their Hope mark into a dynamic beacon of forward progression to lead the brand. With storytelling at the forefront, we drew inspiration from traditional modular news layouts. Their new branding system establishes the exchange of stories as the standard with refreshed blacks and whites while opening up a world of vibrancy to express the passion within said stories through pops and fields of color.
